Description: As watershed practitioners, we are familiar with the “living” cycle of activities that links watershed planning to implementation and back again.
Presentations in this webinar will directly connect watershed monitoring to planning, to active implementation, and back again. It will showcase a range of Conservation Authority (CA) experiences in developing integrated monitoring programs and using them to inform other CA programs (such as watershed planning and restoration).
It will also share first steps and strategies for getting local buy-in and expanding monitoring programs beyond provincial networks.
Format of Webinar: The webinar will feature a presentation by Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, followed by shorter presentations from Credit Valley Conservation and Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, and a moderated panel discussion with opportunity for audience questions.
