Ontario Parks Association (OPA) and Green Infrastructure Ontario Coalition (GIO) are pleased to launch the “Advancing Municipal Action on Green Infrastructure” project with funding support from the Greenbelt Foundation.
To support and build momentum around green infrastructure implementation at the municipal level. To do this, OPA and GIO are aiming to understand barriers and knowledge gaps currently preventing the implementation of green infrastructure, to convene and engage municipal champions and other stakeholders, and to compile and develop resources and training to practitioners.
Your support is crucial to this project’s success! OPA and GIO are looking to engage with municipal staff (including planning, engineering, forestry, parks, asset management staff and any staff interested or involved with infrastructure projects) and other stakeholders (such as conservation authority staff, developers, and anyone else involved in implementing green infrastructure projects).
