This site, planted last year with young trees and shrubs, needs some TLC in order to thrive.
Join us to get your hands dirty at this family-friendly event!
10:00 to 10:30 am: Learn about restoration efforts during a short tour of the site
10:30 am to 12:00 pm: Hands on work party to remove invasive species and apply mulch around young trees and shrubs
Refreshments provided. Volunteer hours available.
Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes (no sandals!) and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and water.
This event is rain or shine.
This event will involve walking through the park on paved walkways and unpaved, grassy surfaces and working in naturalized areas on unpaved ground. For accessibility questions please contact us.
